Emergency First Aid at Work (with or without +F)

First aid is the crucial, initial care provided for illness or injury until actual medical treatment can be given, if it is necessary. For that reason, it is essential that as many people as possible have basic first aid training. In the workplace, there is a legal requirement for employers to provide equipment, facilities, and qualified personnel to ensure employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or become ill at work.

Who is it for?

This 1-day course in Emergency First Aid at Work is available to anyone. The course ensures that candidates learn the key techniques in order to administer simple but sometimes life-saving techniques.

Administering CPR and AED use
Management of unconscious casualties
Airway and breathing problems
Dealing with a choking casualty

Forestry First Aid (+F)

Those who work in Forestry, or other outdoor industries, are at a higher risk of certain injuries and situations, therefore the Forestry Commission recommends they attend training that includes additional topics relevant to the risks and nature of their work.
