Chainsaw Refresher
Chainsaw maintenance, cross-cutting, and felling up to 380mm – Refresher
Our chainsaw refresher modules keep operators up-to-date with industry-approved standards for health and safety, and practical skills and techniques. This helps to ensure that operators continue to be confident when working within forestry, arboriculture, or allied industries.
Each module is supported by its own booklet, outlining minimum course content, and will be delivered by instructors approved by Lantra Awards. Modules are designed to be short, sharp, and focused and will provide refresher training for experienced operators.
Who is it for?
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recommends that frequent chainsaw users attend refresher training at least every 5 years, and every 2-3 years for infrequent users.
