Level 3 Aerial Tree Pruning (Previously CS40)

Aerial Tree Pruning involves skilled chainsaw users working from a rope and harness, carrying out tree pruning operations. This training will provide candidates with the appropriate techniques and safety guidelines to help increase existing  knowledge, understanding, and skills required so they can carry out aerial tree pruning effectively, safely, and to industry standards, in line with current legislation. 

Who is it for?

Our Aerial Tree Pruning course is suitable for those in the forestry, arboriculture, and woodland industries, within the private sector or local authorities and conservation roles.

Candidates will already be qualified tree climbers and have their Level 2 qualification in using a chainsaw from a rope and harness. It is expected that candidates will have extensive experience completing aerial tree work using a chainsaw from a rope and harness, before enrolling on this course.
