About Morton Training Ltd...

Andrew Morton began freelance instructing in 1983, at first delivering pesticides and chainsaw training. He then formed Morton Training in 1989, to help support his young family. The business has grown over the years from a 1-man-band arranging training and assessments in lunch breaks and after hours, to a successful, thriving, national training provider, working with dozens of instructors and assessors throughout the UK. The hard work finally paid off when Andrew was able to design, build, and develop a purpose-built training facility in the East Riding of Yorkshire, Morton Park, which opened in September 2019. Andrew still delivers training today (in between well deserved holidays with his wife Linda, who now takes a back seat in the business) and he is very much still involved with the development and day-to-day running of the company, which is now managed by Helen Morton (or as Andrew would say, "my middle daughter"). In 2022, as the company continued to grow, Jo and Sarah joining the ranks and took on office admin and finance roles. Morton Training Ltd operates within the land-based and amenity industries and prides itself on delivering high quality training for all your land-based training needs. We are a Lantra approved Training Provider, a City & Guilds/NPTC Assessment Centre, and a First Aid Industry Body approved provider. All our instructors and assessors are highly qualified and registered with Lantra, City and Guilds/NPTC and/or FAIB. It is our aim to anticipate and satisfy the needs of our clients by providing quality training and assessment and to advise the client regarding their individual needs.
