This training covers the knowledge and skills involved with the removal of sections from a tree crown under the control of rope rigging and lifting gear. The work will be carried out by an operator with significant experience of arboriculture operations and chainsaw operations in a canopy. You will carry out a tree hazard and a ‘working at height’ assessment to determine if the operative is safe to perform the work and to determine the safest and most efficient access method.

This aerial work must be supported by a ground worker with significant experience of aerial treework and rigging techniques. This training covers the techniques for the dismantling of tree sections or entire trees. The training and successful completion of the Level 3 award will ensure you conform to all current legislation and codes of practice.

Who is it for?

If you work as a tree surgeon or arborist and want to dismantle trees safely and professionally then this course is for you.
