Using a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness (Unit 204)

Level 2 Using a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness (Previously CS39)

Our Use of a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness course will provide candidates with key knowledge, skills, and practical guidance so they are able to use a chainsaw safely and securely in the trees.

Aerial tree work can be very dangerous, so quality training is essential.

Who is it for?

Our Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness training is aimed at those who work in forestry, arboriculture, and conservation industries, who need to operate a chainsaw from up the tree. This training will prepare candidates for their Level 2 assessment.

Candidates who enrol on this course will already have their Level 2 qualifications in Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue (C&G unit 203, previously CS38), Chainsaw Maintenance, Cross-cutting and Felling up to 380mm (C&G units 201 and 202, previously CS30 & CS31)
